Editorial and specification process
Vehicle specifications are reviewed against market-specific manufacturer material whenever it is obtainable. Preferred evidence includes owner manuals, supplements, maintenance schedules, official service information, and official parts catalogs.
- Identify the exact market, model-year range, engine, and engine code.
- Record the manufacturer document, relevant pages or tables, and access date.
- Map every displayed specification to the source that supports it.
- Mark unsupported pages
noindex, merge duplicates, or remove invalid configurations. - Recheck pages when manufacturer guidance or oil standards change.
The specification catalog is undergoing a page-by-page evidence audit. A legacy page that does not yet show detailed source locators should be treated as a starting point and verified against the vehicle’s official documentation before maintenance.
