Molygen New Generation uses LIQUI MOLY’s proprietary molybdenum-based additive package to reduce friction and deposit formation in modern Asian and American gasoline engines with multi-valve, turbocharged designs. It is built to API SQ / ILSAC GF-7A rather than a European ACEA specification, and LIQUI MOLY does not market it for diesel applications.

OEM specifications and approvals
Meets / recommended for
These specifications are listed by the manufacturer as met or recommended, which is a lighter claim than a formal, numbered approval.
Is this oil compatible with your car?
Viscosity alone does not determine whether an oil is right for your engine. Compatibility depends on the exact OEM approval your manufacturer requires, your engine's build, the model year, and the market the car was sold in — the same nominal viscosity can carry different approvals in different regions. Check your owner's manual or use OilFinderPro below to confirm the requirement for your specific vehicle before buying.
Oils sharing one or more specifications
Each row shows the exact specification two products share and whether it is a formally licensed approval or a lighter "meets requirements" claim on each side — those are not equivalent, and sharing a specification does not by itself make two oils interchangeable in your vehicle.
