Top Tec 4210 is a low-viscosity, low-ash synthetic oil developed for the Volkswagen Group’s Motor Oil Strategy 2020/2021, built to ACEA C3 for gasoline and diesel engines fitted with a particulate filter. The lower 0W-30 grade favors cold-start friction reduction and fuel economy over LIQUI MOLY’s thicker Top Tec 4200 above — the two are not interchangeable if your manufacturer specifies one viscosity.

Is this oil compatible with your car?

Viscosity alone does not determine whether an oil is right for your engine. Compatibility depends on the exact OEM approval your manufacturer requires, your engine's build, the model year, and the market the car was sold in — the same nominal viscosity can carry different approvals in different regions. Check your owner's manual or use OilFinderPro below to confirm the requirement for your specific vehicle before buying.

Oils sharing one or more specifications

Each row shows the exact specification two products share and whether it is a formally licensed approval or a lighter "meets requirements" claim on each side — those are not equivalent, and sharing a specification does not by itself make two oils interchangeable in your vehicle.
