Valvoline’s product page says it meets API SN and ACEA C3, and lists it as Approved for VW Standard 504.00/507.00, Porsche C30, BMW LL-01, LL-01FE, LL-12FE and LL-04, MB 226.5, 229.51, 229.31, 229.5 and 229.3, STJLR.03.5007, and VW 502.00/505.00.

Volkswagen’s own approved-oil list includes Valvoline European Vehicle Full Synthetic SAE 0W-30 under VW 504 00/507 00 (Volkswagen technical bulletin 2012855/81, “Volkswagen Engine Oil Quality Standards”, June 4, 2026).
