Mazda’s owner’s manual for the 2024 Mazda CX-90 with the 3.3L DOHC-24V in-line 6-cylinder says to use SAE 0W-20 engine oil. Only use SAE 0W-20 oil that’s “Certified For Gasoline Engines” by the American Petroleum Institute (API). Mazda says Mazda Genuine 0W-20 Oil is required to achieve optimum fuel economy.
Engine oil capacity is approximately 6.0 L (6.3 US qt) with oil filter replacement, or 5.7 L (6.0 US qt) without.
