Complete Oil Specifications
Nissan’s owner’s manual for the 2023 Z (3.0L 6-cylinder, V-slanted (VR30DDTT engine model)) recommends Genuine NISSAN Motor Oil 0W-20 SP or an equivalent. If Genuine NISSAN oil isn’t available, a synthetic 0W-20 GF-6 SP oil may be used. Engine oil drain and refill capacity is about 5-5/8 US qt (5.3 L) with an oil filter change, or 5-3/8 US qt (5.1 L) without.
When to Change the Oil

The severe-maintenance lists in the manual don’t add a separate engine oil interval. If the oil replacement indicator is displayed, change the engine oil and filter as soon as possible, then reset the display.
