Volvo’s US owner’s manual for the 2021 XC90 says engine oil of type VCC RBS0-2AE 0W-20 must be used. Lower oil grades may not give the same fuel economy, engine performance or engine protection. Engine oil volume is about 5.6 L (5.9 US qt) including the oil filter.
